Authentic Kensight ® Sights - The Professional's Choice

This is an authentic Kensight ® sight, and not to be confused with other brands. When it comes to durability, and features the Kensight® sights far exceed our competitors. Our sights are Wire-EDM machined from a single billet of 4140 chrome-moly steel. The result is a precision sight built with better materials and the Wire-EDM construction ensures the tightest tolerances possible. This translates to ultra-smooth adjustments, audible clicks for both windage and elevation, and consistent dovetail dimensions in which the "industry standard" CNC construction cannot compete. Backed by our Limited Lifetime Warranty, Kensight 1911 sights are premium quality and the first choice for factory-fit OEM manufactures, competition shooters and professional's worldwide.

  1. Being Prepared Is Better Than Being Caught Short

Posted by LAG on 25th Jun 2021

A friend told me about Kensight. I noticed that the hinge pin on my Gold Cup tends to wander out during shooting. So far I've caught it before it slips out far enough to be a problem. So I got the pin kit, as well as the spring, since if the pin goes so will the spring, and good luck finding these tiny parts in the grass. I decided to add some other spare Elliason sight parts to the order. If it turns out I will never need them, then I'm ahead of the power curve. If I do need a part, I'll be ready. Having these parts on hand is inexpensive insurance.

  7. I NEED IT, YOU GOT IT

Posted by OKI on 19th May 2019

A replacement hinge pin for my rear gun sight broke off during a recent trip to the range. I was pondering a trip to a gunsmith for a simple fix. I decided to do a search on the internet, and found what I was looking for on kensight.com. Ordered the replacement pin and had it in a couple of days. Fix the problem, saved a few bucks and a week or two of time at the gunsmith. GREAT to have a place to go to get what you need! FAST, EASY, SIMPLE!!!

  8. The only dealer that had the part!

Posted by Sandy on 6th Sep 2018

I own a 1973 1911 45acp Colt Gold Cup National Match that a part that keeps my target sights in place. Without the part, my pistol is not usable. I was told by several people and other companies that the part was no longe available. By chance I saw a Kensight product offered by another company. I called Kensight and was relieved to hear the part was in stock.

    Thank You Kensight!

  9. Elliason Rear Sight Hinge Pin

Posted by Ken on 10th Nov 2017

These appear to be the proper size. I was hoping that it would be a simple matter to just glide a new pin in where the old one had worked its way out and was lost. I can easily get the pin into the frame of the sight, but it looks like a lot of force, or a special tool, or a special technique is required to get the pin to pass through the ramp portion of the sight. I gave up after a few tries not wanting to booger up the pin(s) or sight. I will look for a pistol smith to get a pin installed.
