A brief history, information and drawings for the Novak LoMount Combat Carry sights

A Brief History

If we step back in time, to the early 80's there was an apparent need for a low mount sighting system for the popular 1911 platform. Most of the firearm manufacturers were focused on more of a target style sight. Master pistol smith Wayne Novak had an idea for a low mount snag-free sight design. Working in conjunction with Smith and Wesson, the Novak LoMount sight was born.
